Punch Cigars is commemorating a milestone for one of its most recognizable lines.
To mark 25 years of Rare Corojo, Punch has introduced Rare Corojo 25th Anniversary, a new cigar that will join the company’s regular production lineup rather than serve as a one-time limited edition. For retailers, that distinction matters — this is not a commemorative release that will disappear after initial allocation, but a long-term addition designed to stand alongside the original Rare Corojo.
Produced at the Aladino Factory in Honduras, Rare Corojo 25th Anniversary is a Honduran puro featuring a Corojo wrapper and Corojo binder, supported by fillers of Habano and Corojo. The profile is described as bold and spicy, offering notes of spice, cedar, and earth — a character consistent with the brand’s reputation for strength and depth.
While the blend is entirely different from the original Rare Corojo, both versions will remain available as full-time offerings. That dual presence allows retailers to merchandise the anniversary release as both a celebration and a complementary expression within the Rare Corojo family.
The 25th Anniversary cigar is offered in a single size — a 6 x 54 Toro — packaged in boxes of 10 cigars. The suggested retail price is $10.99 per cigar, positioning it in a competitive premium price tier that aligns with the broader Punch portfolio. Shipments are expected to begin in March 2026.
For a brand that has maintained shelf presence for decades, the Rare Corojo name carries recognition among longtime customers. The introduction of a permanent anniversary expression reinforces Punch’s strategy of honoring legacy while refreshing interest within established lines.
