The Tobacconist of Greenwich, in partnership with Arturo Fuente and Carlito Fuente Jr., hosted the third annual Opus Xodus Experience on October 8 at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The 2025 event set a new fundraising record, generating more than $500,000 to benefit the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation (CFCF), an organization dedicated to education, healthcare, and community development in the Dominican Republic.
An Evening of Luxury, Legacy, and Philanthropy
The sold-out event brought together 250 guests from around the world, including industry leaders Carlito Fuente Jr., Ciro Cascella, Carlos Fuente III, Cynthia Fuente, and Bobby Newman. Attendees enjoyed fine dining, curated wines from Lokoya, and live entertainment.
“Each year, Opus Xodus reminds me why we do what we do—it’s about love, family, and the bonds that bring us together through this beautiful craft,” said Carlito Fuente Jr. “With your love and respect, we continue to build not just cigars, but a legacy rooted in heart and humanity.”

Historic Auctions and Rare Releases
A highlight of the evening was the auction of 16 ultra-rare and unreleased Fuente lots, including cigars never before available outside the Fuente family’s private reserves. All proceeds supported the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.
Guests were also treated to two exclusive product launches created for the occasion:
- Fuente Fuente Opus X 25th Anniversary Rare Finds — a collector’s 10-cigar release showcasing some of the rarest blends in the Fuente portfolio.
- Opus XXX 10-Year Bourbon Whiskey — a single-barrel bourbon created with First Cut Barrel Company to commemorate the event’s legacy.
