VegaFina is relaunching its Classic and 1998 lines in the U.S. this August, debuting refreshed packaging and exclusive new formats designed for the American market.
The relaunch introduces two product formats that will only be available in the U.S. VegaFina Tins feature 4 x 42 Panatelas available in both the Classic and 1998 lines, presented in five-count tins priced at $40 each. Each tin contains cigars blended specifically for each line: the Classic features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Indonesian TBN binder, and Dominican, Colombian, and Honduran fillers, while the 1998 line offers a Habana Ecuador wrapper, Java Indonesian binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Colombia.
VegaFina is also introducing Fresh Packs, designed for convenience and freshness. Each pack contains four Toro-sized cigars—two Classic (6 x 50) and two 1998 (6 x 54)—sealed to maintain peak condition. Fresh Packs carry a suggested retail price of $32 per pack and come in eight-pack units containing 32 cigars total.
In addition to these formats, VegaFina is launching the Wonders Collection, an annual limited-edition series inspired by the Seven Wonders of the World. The first release, Petra (2025 Edition), pays homage to the ancient city in Jordan. Limited to just 750 boxes in the U.S., Petra comes in a box of 14 Nabateos (7 x 48) cigars featuring a blend with a Mexican Criollo wrapper aged 10 years, a Java Indonesian binder, and a mix of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Colombian fillers. Each box is priced at $210.
“With these new offerings, we’re not just expanding our product range—we’re creating new opportunities for consumers to engage with the VegaFina brand in meaningful and memorable ways,” said Gabriel Diaz, brand manager for Altadis U.S.A.
Currently available in more than 50 countries, VegaFina’s U.S. relaunch is intended to broaden the brand’s reach with formats that appeal to both existing cigar enthusiasts and those discovering the brand for the first time.
