Macanudo is expanding its Emissary line with a new cigar blended with rare tobacco grown near Bordeaux, France. The Emissary France features tobacco cultivated in the Mugron River Valley, where the Atlantic sea breeze nurtures it. This special tobacco gives this premium smoke nuanced notes of salt and dark berries.

In a press release, senior brand manager Matt Wilson commented: “After the success of Emissary España, we knew we had high expectations to meet. Going to France, with its incredible flavors and deep-rooted tradition of sophistication, felt like a natural next step. We were inspired by the richness and refinement that define French craftsmanship and set out to create a cigar that embodies those same qualities. Emissary France is the perfect expression of that vision, delivering an experience that is both refined and unforgettable.”

The Emissary France is made with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper (10-year aged), a USA Broadleaf binder (10-year aged), and Dominican Piloto (10-year aged), USA Broadleaf (8-year aged), and Brazilian Arapiraca (7-year aged) and French filler tobacco (4-year aged).

Emissary France is handcrafted at HATSA and will be a full-time release available in four sizes: Robusto, 5 x 52; Toro, 6 x 52; Churchill, 7 x 48; and Perfecto, 5 3/4 x 50. The suggested retail price per cigar ranges from $14.99 to $17.99 before applicable taxes. Each cigar will come in 16-count boxes.

Emissary France is now available to ship to retailers.
