Don Emmanuel Cigars—a boutique brand defined by artistry, cultural depth, and the blending mastery of both Don Emmanuel and the legendary Eladio Díaz—is expanding into several key international markets. Beginning this month, the company’s debut line, Anunnaki, will be available to consumers in the Caribbean region, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico.
For the young brand, this expansion marks an important moment in its evolution. Since its launch, Anunnaki has attracted attention from smokers drawn to its rich flavor progression, seven-tobacco architecture, and the unique philosophy that underpins its creation. Now, Don Emmanuel Cigars is moving further into markets where premium tobacco has long held cultural and economic significance.
“Expanding into these markets is a very meaningful moment for us,” said founder Don Emmanuel. “Each of these regions has a rich cigar culture and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. Bringing our vision, our blend, and our philosophy to more smokers across the Caribbean and Latin America reinforces what we believe in: cigars that celebrate energy, balance, and connection.”
A Brand Rooted in Heritage and Creative Exploration
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Don Emmanuel’s connection to tobacco dates back to childhood memories of his grandmother’s work at Suerdieck, once the world’s largest cigar manufacturer. That early influence led him into a decades-long exploration of the tobacco world—studying cultivation, fermentation, blending, and culture across Latin America.
His approach took shape as a fusion of sensory experimentation and ancient symbolism, ultimately guiding the creation of the Anunnaki line at Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera in the Dominican Republic. Blended collaboratively with master blender Eladio Díaz, Anunnaki showcases seven distinct tobaccos, including a rare Dominican wrapper and a Mexican San Andrés Negro binder. The cigar has been praised for its dynamic flavor evolution, balance, and depth.
With its expansion into the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico, Don Emmanuel Cigars is building relationships in regions where premium tobacco has shaped identity and craftsmanship for centuries.
All three Anunnaki vitolas will now be available in these sizes: Anu (Toro, 6 x 52); Ki (Robusto, 5 x 50); Corona Fina (Corona Fina, 4 x 38). The Corona Fina will come packaged in tins containing 5 cigars.
As the brand widens its footprint, this latest step reinforces its mission: celebrating artisanal tobacco traditions while introducing a fresh, story-driven perspective to the global premium cigar conversation.
