ATL Cigar Co. has announced the release of a new line, La Carrousel-1960, scheduled to debut at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show (PCA26) in New Orleans.

The cigar is named after La Carrousel, a jazz venue located within Paschal’s Motor Hotel in Atlanta during the 1960s. The venue served as a gathering place during the Civil Rights era and hosted performers including Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Dizzy Gillespie, and Herbie Hancock.

Blend and Construction
La Carrousel-1960 is handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua in partnership with Casa Y Hernandez. The cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over a Jalapa Valley binder, with filler tobaccos sourced from both Jalapa and Estelí.

The line will be introduced in two vitolas: a Gran Toro measuring 6 1/2 x 56 and a Robusto Extra measuring 5 1/2  x 50. ATL Cigar Co. has indicated that the cigars will debut at PCA26, with shipments expected to begin immediately following the trade show.

ATL Cigar Co. develops its blends in collaboration with established factories and focuses on releases that reflect cultural influences tied to its Atlanta roots. The La Carrousel-1960 line draws its inspiration from the city’s historical music and social landscape.
