J.SANN & SON has announced a first look at its upcoming family factory brand portfolio, consisting of five new cigar brands that will be introduced to retailers during the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show (PCA26) in New Orleans.
The portfolio is being developed at founder Jonathan Drew Sann’s family factory in Wynwood, Florida, where the company states production will focus on small-scale, hand-made output. According to the company, full production is currently projected to begin in September 2026, with first shipments to core retail partners expected in January 2027. Drew Estate is expected to manage sales and distribution of the five proprietary brands.
In a press release, J.SANN & SON stated that its Wynwood operation is designed as a limited-capacity factory with four rollers producing approximately 500 cigars per day by hand. Aging, color sorting, quality control, and packaging are all expected to take place on-site. The company also noted that tobacco sourcing began in 2024, with final blends, wrappers, and vitolas for the new frontmarks expected to be completed later in 2026.
Five-Brand Portfolio
The upcoming portfolio consists of five distinct brands that will form the foundation of the company’s lineup:
- Our Trademark is positioned as the umbrella family brand and will appear as a secondary mark on J.SANN & SON cigars.
- Madrugada is described as a brand dedicated to family heritage and the company’s connection to Nicaragua and New York.
- Thirteen Years references the period between the sale of Drew Estate and the launch of J.SANN & SON.
- West End Cigars is presented as a collaborative project centered on neighborhood identity and shared roots.
- Homegrown is described as a mixed-filler blend using tobacco trimmings from the company’s other recipes.
Retailers attending PCA26 (April 17–20, New Orleans) will have an opportunity to preview the new portfolio and meet with Jonathan Drew Sann during the show at the Drew Estate booth. The company stated that discussions with retailers will take place during the first two days of the event.
