The Tobacconist of Greenwich brought together six prominent premium cigar manufacturers for its inaugural Titans of Tobacco event on June 10 at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut, creating what organizers described as a rare gathering of cigar families, retailers, collectors, and enthusiasts from across the country.
The sold-out event attracted approximately 300 attendees and featured representatives from A. Fuente & Co., PadrĂ³n Cigars, La Flor Dominicana, Foundation Cigar Company, Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera, and Kelner Cigars. According to organizers, the event was designed to celebrate the heritage, craftsmanship, and future of the premium cigar industry while bringing together some of the most recognized names in the business.

Hosted by The Tobacconist of Greenwich CEO Michael Cafagno and President and COO Dylan Austin, the evening concluded with a live auction featuring 18 collector lots curated by the participating cigar families. Organizers reported that the auction generated more than $228,000, with proceeds benefiting industry advocacy efforts.
“The Tobacconist of Greenwich has been bringing people together over exceptional cigars since 1974, and I’m not sure anything has ever captured that spirit quite like this night,” Cafagno said in a statement. “To have six of the greatest cigar families and so many cherished friends in one room was a profound honor.”
Austin noted that the gathering showcased the strength of the premium cigar community and the relationships that continue to drive the industry forward.
According to organizers, one of the defining aspects of the event was the opportunity to bring together manufacturers that have rarely appeared together at a single consumer-facing gathering. The event highlighted the ongoing collaboration between manufacturers, retailers, and consumers while underscoring the importance of preserving premium cigar traditions and supporting the industry’s future.

The Tobacconist of Greenwich also announced that it will host Opus Xodus on October 7, 2026, a charitable event centered on the Arturo Fuente family and benefiting the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation. Additional details are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
