La Aurora USA is expanding its Cazadores portfolio with three flavored cigars designed to complement existing blends within the value-priced, handmade line.

Cazadores Flavors will launch with Cazadores Brown, Cazadores Blond and Cazadores Caribbean. Each profile uses the wrapper, binder and filler combination of an existing Cazadores cigar as its foundation, with added flavors chosen to complement the characteristics of the original blend.

The cigars are expected to begin shipping to retailers in September 2026. Each profile will be offered in 20-count boxes in two sizes: a 5 x 50 Robusto with an MSRP of $120 per box, or $6 per cigar, and a 5.75 x 54 Toro priced at $125 per box, or $6.25 per cigar.

La Aurora introduced the original Cazadores line in 2018 as an approachable collection of handmade, long-filler Dominican cigars. The three new profiles maintain the same pricing as the original Cazadores Robusto and Toro, giving retailers flavored options at an established price point within the portfolio.

“Cazadores has always lived in that sweet spot between everyday and exceptional—great value, but never at the expense of quality,” said Ed McKenna, CEO of La Aurora USA. “With Cazadores Flavors, we’re opening the door a little wider.”

According to McKenna, the extension is intended for existing Cazadores smokers interested in trying something different as well as customers who are new to the brand.

Three Wrapper-Based Profiles
Cazadores Brown uses the same Indonesian Maduro wrapper, Indonesian binder and Dominican Cibao Valley fillers as Cazadores Maduro. The cigar is infused with cocoa and toasted cognac notes intended to build upon the Maduro wrapper’s natural sweetness.

Cazadores Blond begins with the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper used on Cazadores Claro, paired with the original blend’s binder and filler tobaccos. A vanilla-cream sweetness complements its cedar and nut characteristics. La Aurora describes Blond as the mildest and most approachable of the three new profiles.

Cazadores Caribbean is based on Cazadores Nicaragua, combining a Nicaragua wrapper with an Indonesian binder and Dominican Cibao Valley fillers. Rum and tropical spice notes are added to complement the blend’s pepper and earth characteristics.

“We built each flavor around the wrapper it’s paired with, not the other way around,” said John Ferrigan, national sales director for La Aurora USA. “Nothing about these cigars feels bolted on—they taste like an extension of the blends smokers already know.”

For retailers, the coordinated profiles may make it easier to introduce flavored-cigar customers to the broader Cazadores portfolio. Each new release can be presented alongside its corresponding original blend, creating a straightforward comparison based on wrapper, strength and added flavor.

The 6 x 60 Gordo will remain exclusive to the original Cazadores blends. Cazadores Brown, Blond and Caribbean are expected to begin shipping to retailers in September 2026.
