Quesada Cigars is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its Oktoberfest line with a limited 2026 release expected to reach U.S. retailers in September.
First introduced in 2011, Quesada Oktoberfest was created in recognition of the annual German celebration and blended to pair with Märzen-style beer and other seasonal brews. The 2026 edition continues that tradition while marking a transition for the brand: It will be the final Oktoberfest release presented in the line’s current packaging. Quesada plans to introduce updated packaging reflecting its new brand identity with the 2027 edition.
“Reaching 15 years with Oktoberfest is especially meaningful for us,” said Patricia Quesada. “It’s one of the first blends developed with the involvement of the fifth generation of the Quesada family, which makes this release particularly special as we look both at where we started and where we are.”
The Quesada Oktoberfest 2026 features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Dominican binder and Dominican filler tobaccos. The cigars will be packaged in 10-count boxes and offered in five sizes.
The Salomon Press measures 6 3/4 x 50/33 and has a suggested retail price of $14.50 per cigar or $145 per box. The 6 x 49 box-pressed Kaiser Ludwig is priced at $14 per cigar or $140 per box, while the 6 x 65 Uber carries a suggested price of $15 per cigar or $150 per box. The 6 x 52 Das Boot is priced at $14.25 per cigar or $142.50 per box, and the 5 1/2 x 52 Bavarian has a suggested retail price of $13.25 per cigar or $132.50 per box.
Production for the U.S. market is limited to 500 boxes of each size. The combination of limited availability, anniversary branding and the final appearance of the current packaging could give retailers a timely seasonal release with additional appeal among longtime followers and collectors of the line.
Quesada presented the Oktoberfest 2026 at the 2026 PCA Trade Show, where orders were taken. Shipments are expected to begin reaching U.S. retailers in September in conjunction with the Oktoberfest season.
