Casa Carrillo is bringing back Battleborn for a second year with Battleborn Heroes, a limited release featuring a new blend and a tribute to military personnel, veterans and first responders. The company expects the cigars to reach select retailers nationwide before Veterans Day, November 11, following launch events in Virginia.
The 2026 edition is a 6 x 52 cigar with an African Cameroon wrapper, dual binders from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, and aged Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Suggested retail pricing is $21 per cigar.
Production is limited to 2,000 individually numbered boxes of 21 cigars. Casa Carrillo says the box count pays tribute to the 21-gun salute. Each box also includes a collectible Battleborn logo dog tag.
“Battleborn is about honoring the people who show up when others need them most,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III. “Whether you serve in the military, protect your community as a police officer or firefighter, or respond when someone is having the worst day of their life, that commitment deserves our respect.”
The first retail appearances are scheduled at Old Virginia Tobacco in Kingstowne on October 22 and Woodbridge on October 23, from 5–8 p.m. on both dates. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo is scheduled to attend both events.
Casa Carrillo connects the release to its broader Carrillo Cares efforts and says retailer partnerships and charitable initiatives support organizations serving veterans, military families and first responders.
