Altadis U.S.A. is expanding its collaboration with Christian Eiroa with the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro, a new brick-and-mortar-exclusive release that builds on the anniversary cigar introduced earlier this year.

The original Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary debuted at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show and reunited Eiroa with the brand three decades after he developed the original Saint Luis Rey blend in 1996. The new Maduro version offers a fuller interpretation of that collaboration while maintaining the same anniversary theme.

Handmade in Honduras, the cigar uses an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper over a Honduran Corojo binder and filler tobaccos consisting of Colombian Pinareño and Honduran Corojo. Altadis U.S.A. lists dark chocolate, dried fruit and roasted coffee among the blend’s tasting notes and describes the cigar as medium-to-full in strength.

Eiroa said the Maduro represents a continuation of work that began with Saint Luis Rey in 1996 and gives the anniversary project a richer, more intense expression while retaining the character of the original collaboration.

Like the first 30th Anniversary release, the Maduro will be sold exclusively through brick-and-mortar retailers. Altadis U.S.A. plans to debut the cigar at the late-October 2026 Tobacconists’ Association of America meeting, with national shipments to follow and distribution scheduled to be underway by the 2027 PCA Trade Show.

The Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro will be packaged in 25-count wooden cabinet-style boxes with black-and-gold branding. Four sizes will be offered, with suggested retail prices ranging from $12 to $13.50 per cigar.
