Davidoff will introduce its Year of the Sheep Limited Edition 2027 collection on November 19, 2026, with a piramides cigar leading a lineup of limited-production cigars and accessories. The collection will be available through select Davidoff appointed merchants and flagship stores, with timing and availability varying by country.

For the first time in Davidoff’s Chinese zodiac series, all three cigar formats are figurados. The shapes take their inspiration from the curve of a sheep’s horn, carrying the theme through the cigars as well as their presentation.

The main release is a 6 3/4-inch by 52-ring-gauge piramides featuring an Ecuadorian wrapper and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The binder has not been disclosed. Davidoff describes the blend as full-bodied with medium intensity, identifying cream, dark chocolate and caramel among its tasting notes. Production is limited to 17,500 boxes of 10 cigars worldwide.

The packaging gives retailers several details to highlight for collectors and gift shoppers. The wooden boxes feature a red finish, wool-like fabric panels and purple accents. Each includes a removable interior cover and a numbered collector’s coin, while the cigars carry a second band bearing the Year of the Sheep design.

Additional Formats and Collectible Accessories
A separate gran perfecto will be offered exclusively through Davidoff of Geneva since 1911 flagship stores. Measuring 6 inches by 61 ring gauge, it shares the piramides blend and comes in 24-count boxes, with production limited to 850 boxes worldwide.

The collection also includes 12 Masterpiece Humidors, each containing 88 exclusive gran torpedo cigars. Handmade in France, the humidors feature artwork by Chinese illustrator Jane Liu, interpreted in embroidery on silk satin by French textile artist Clémentine Brandibas.

Two numbered accessories complete the release: a porcelain ashtray limited to 288 pieces and a gold-finished double-blade cutter limited to 388 pieces. The ashtray incorporates sculpted, horn-inspired edges, while the cutter accommodates cigars up to a 60 ring gauge.

For participating retailers, the distinction between the main piramides release and the exclusive formats will be useful when answering customer inquiries. The collection’s coordinated packaging and accessories also provide a seasonal gifting story ahead of the 2027 Lunar New Year.
