At this year’s Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show in New Orleans, Alec Bradley debuted a new brand, Do Not Disturb, and new sizes for its popular Black Market line.
Do Not Disturb (DND) is crafted in the Dominican Republic and is described as an “invitation to slow down and take a well-deserved break.” Alec Bradley hopes this premium cigar will make people press pause on their busy lives and unwind. It features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Dominican Criollo binder, and a blend of Dominican and Mexican filler tobacco.
Alec Bradley brand ambassador Bradley Rubin commented, “Do Not Disturb is for anyone looking to take a break and enjoy a moment of peace. It’s an open invitation to find your space, whether that’s a lounge, the porch, or the garage, and just unwind with a cigar that feels familiar and easy to enjoy. We’re excited to offer something that pairs perfectly with those well-earned moments.”
Do Not Disturb is said to be a smooth, approachable smoke with layered complexity. The cigar opens with subtle notes of earth, hay, and tea before gradually giving way to gentle spice. This cigar will come in 16-count boxes and is handcrafted at the La Isla factory in the Dominican Republic. This cigar is available in three sizes: Robusto, 5 x 50; Toro, 6 x 52; and Gordo, 6 x 60. Do Not Disturb’s suggested retail price ranges from $8.39 to $9.949 per cigar before applicable taxes. This release is expected to ship to retailers in June 2025.
Alec Bradley’s Black Market line is now available in two new sizes” Black Market Smalls and Black Market Toro Tubes. Both are set to release this May. Black Market Smalls measure 4.18 x 36 and are available in 6-count tins. These cigars are good for those looking for a premium smoke while on the go. Black Market Tubes are another new convenient option for those on the go. The Black Market Tubes are available in a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro.
Both new offerings feature the same blend that has made Black Market a favorite for many for years: a Nicaraguan wrapper, a robust Sumatra binder, and a blend of Honduran and Panamanian tobacco for the filler. Black Market has spice, pepper, and peat notes and finishes with a long, dry burn. Black Market Smalls will have a suggested retail price of $22.99 and are handmade in the Dominican Republic. Black Market Toro Tubes have a suggested retail price of $12.49 per cigar and are crafted in Honduras. Both are expected to ship to retailers in May 2025.
