Casa Carrillo has announced the release of Ascend, a new regular-production cigar that will debut at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show (PCA26) in New Orleans.

Ascend joins the Perez-Carrillo Series, which also includes lines such as Pledge, Allegiance, La Historia, and Encore. Ascend is produced at the Casa Carrillo factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

The cigar features an Ecuador Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder from Estelí, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. According to the company, the blend was developed to deliver a profile that evolves throughout the smoking experience.

Ascend will be offered in three vitolas, each packaged in 20-count boxes:

  • The Saddle measures 5 x 50 and carries a suggested retail price of $12.75 per cigar.
  • The Ridge measures 6 x 52 and carries a suggested retail price of $13.75 per cigar.
  • The Peak measures 6 1/4 x 58 and carries a suggested retail price of $14.95 per cigar.

Ascend will be introduced at PCA26, where pre-orders will open during the trade show. Shipments to retailers are expected to begin in late May or early June 2026. The release becomes the latest regular-production addition to the Perez-Carrillo Series.
