Cohiba’s popular Riviera line is getting a line extension as a new tubo release. While the cigar maintains the Riviera’s same signature box-pressed construction, it now comes in a square aluminum tubo.

“Riviera has been one of the most talked-about blends in the Cohiba portfolio,” said Cohiba Brand Ambassador Sean Williams. “The response from both critics and fans has been incredible. A tubo offering for this blend is something we’ve been asked about since launch, and we’re excited to finally deliver it.”

The Cohiba Riviera was introduced in 2023 and marked a first for the brand with its San Andrés wrapper and box-pressed format. The cigar is handcrafted in Nicaragua. In addition to the San Andrés wrapper, the blend features a Honduran Connecticut binder and a four-leaf filler from Honduras’ Jamastran and La Entrada regions and Nicaragua’s Condega and Estelí. This is a medium—to full-bodied smoke.

The Riviera Toro Tubo is a full-time addition to Cohiba’s portfolio. It will be offered in a 6 1/2 x 52 box-pressed Toro format with each cigar having a suggested retail price of $24.99. The Cohiba Riviera is available in four other sizes: Lancero (7 x 38; Toro, 6 1/2 x 52; Perfecto, 6 x 60; and Robusto, 5 x 52. All sizes are box-pressed.

The Cohiba Riviera is handcrafted at Scandinavian Tobacco Group Estelí, S.A.
