Crowned Heads is introducing a new look and brand at this year’s Premium Cigar Association (PCA).

Known as Crowned Heads Broadway, this new brand plays on the use of Broadleaf tobacco selected for the blend. The name also pays tribute to Nashville, Tennessee, the hometown of the Crowned Heads brand.

“Some of our most popular releases over the years have utilized Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers, and when we were contemplating a new brand, the thought of taking a ‘Broad(leaf)-way’ approach towards it, coupled with the fact that Nashville’s lower Broadway district has become something of a legend as a destination, as serendipitous.”

Crowned Heads Broadway has a Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf cover leaf, Nicaraguan (Jalapa) binder, and all Nicaraguan-grown filler. Crowned Heads describes this as a medium-plus smoke with a flavor profile that is a “throwback to the classic Maduro cigars of old that retained more of a dessert-like quality, exhibiting rich flavors of coffee, chocolate, and fruit.”

The Crowned Heads Broadway will be available in three sizes: Robusto Extra, 4 3/4 x 52; Epicure, 5 1/2 x 56; and Toro, 6 1/2 x 54. The suggested retail price per cigar will range from $11.95 to $12.95 before applicable taxes. These cigars will come packaged in 21-count cabinet boxes.

In addition to the new brand, Crowned Heads will be debuting a new look and aesthetic with the release of the Crowned Heads Broadway cigar. The company is revealing a new hero logo as the primary branding, with a secondary band with the individual brand name.

“We’ve discovered that while many people recognized ‘Crowned Heads’ and were also familiar with some of the brands in our portfolio, many were not connecting the dots that we were responsible for such brands as Mil Días, Mil Díaz Maduro, La Imperiosa, among others. We strongly believe that this new branding approach will better unify our portfolio and also help to quickly identify and recognize the Crowned Heads family of brands,” Huber adds.

The new Crowned Heads Broadway is handcrafted at Nicaraguan American Cigars, S.A. (NACSA), in Estelí, Nicaragua. Shipping is expected to begin in late May 2025.
