Drew Estate has expanded its Undercrown 10 portfolio with a new 6 x 60 Gordo, offering the blend in a larger ring gauge for the first time.

The Undercrown 10 Gordo becomes the fifth regular vitola in the Undercrown 10 line. It will be produced in limited quantities and packaged in boxes of 10 with a suggested retail price of $168 per box. The cigars are shipping now to Drew Estate retailers.

Introduced to commemorate what Drew Estate called a “Decade of Dedication,” Undercrown 10 debuted 10 years after the launch of the original Undercrown. The brand traces its origins to workers at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate who developed a cigar they could enjoy while preserving supplies of the tobacco used for Liga Privada.

The new Gordo uses the same blend as the existing Undercrown 10 sizes. It features a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper over a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and filler tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua.

“Undercrown 10 is an incredible medium-to-full-bodied masterpiece at its core, and a blend we all celebrate every single day here at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate,” said factory spokesperson Pedro Gomez. “With this massive new Gordo size, it becomes the ultimate smoke for any big celebration. ¡No Jodas! It’s a bigger bang for your buck, bringing out that fine, spicy Mexican hot chocolate profile like nothing else.”

The Gordo follows the recently released Undercrown El Tigre as Drew Estate continues to add new formats and expressions to the Undercrown portfolio.
