E.P. Carrillo’s latest release, Endure, is the first in the new Perez-Carrillo Premier Collection. This new blend celebrates the Perez-Carrillo family’s enduring legacies, resilience, heritage, and unwavering character.
Endure highlights the Meerapfel family’s important role in saving the Meerapfel Cameroon wrapper from being completely wiped out. In the 1990s, Rick Meerapfel led the effort to preserve this rare and delicate tobacco threatened by political and geographical issues challenging Central Africa. It was due to his efforts that this tobacco variety was able to escape extinction.
E.P. Carrillo’s Endure features this rare Meerapfel Cameroon wrapper. Both the binder and fillers contain Nicaraguan tobacco. E.P. Carrillo’s typical depth and complexity are present in this new medium-to-full-bodied smoke, which pairs well with aged Scotch and robust coffee.
In a press release, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo stated, “Creating Endure was a journey of passion and persistence. This blend reflects our dedication to overcoming challenges and delivering a cigar that tells a story of resilience and triumph. It’s more than just a cigar–it’s a homage to the unyielding spirit of the cigar community and the sacrifices made to preserve a legacy.
The E.P. Carrillo Endure will be packaged in 10-count boxes and available in a Robusto and Toro vitola. A Corona Gordo size will be released later. Retailers can begin placing orders for this cigar on January 2, 2025. The first two sizes are currently slated for shipment in late January 2025.
