Española Cigars is expanding its core portfolio with the addition of a new 6 x 60 Double Toro, which will be available beginning Sept. 1, 2026, in the brand’s Connecticut, Maduro and Corojo blends.
The new vitola will be offered in boxes of 20 with a suggested retail price of $15 per cigar. According to the company, the larger format was developed in response to continued consumer interest in larger ring gauge cigars while maintaining the balance and flavor profiles of the existing Española blends.
Each of the three blends retains its established tobacco recipe:
- Connecticut: Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, San Andrés Maduro binder and Dominican fillers.
- Maduro: Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper with Dominican binder and Dominican fillers.
- Corojo: Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican fillers.
“The 6 x 60 has become one of the most requested sizes among premium cigar smokers, and we wanted to ensure that when we introduced it, it truly represented what Española stands for,” Anto Mahroukian, president of JM Brands Inc., said in a press release. “Our goal wasn’t simply to make a larger cigar. We wanted each blend to maintain its balance, flavor, and character while providing the longer, cooler smoking experience that enthusiasts expect from this format.”
Introduced in 1996, Española Cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic and distributed by JM Brands. The company said the new Double Toro will be available through authorized retailers and distributors nationwide beginning Sept. 1.
