Espinosa Premium Cigars has announced the upcoming release of the Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2025, the latest limited-edition expression in the popular series created in collaboration with celebrity chef and cigar enthusiast Guy Fieri. Now in its fourth year, the Chef Special continues to evolve, offering a bolder, more complex experience for aficionados who appreciate depth, craftsmanship, and character.
The 2025 edition introduces a new blend highlighted by a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper—an earthy, aromatic leaf prized for its richness and dark sweetness. Beneath it lies a core of Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, selected for their balance and strength. The result is a cigar that delivers full flavor with refined finesse, marking a dynamic new chapter in the Knuckle Sandwich story.
Packaged in ten-count boxes, production is limited to just 2,000 boxes. Pricing is set at $16 per cigar or $160 per box before applicable taxes. Distribution will be limited to select premium tobacconists across the country. The cigar will debut at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA25) trade show in New Orleans this weekend.
“This is one of Guy’s personal favorites from the line,” said Erik Espinosa, President of Espinosa Premium Cigars. “Every year, we make sure the Chef Special lives up to its name—and the 2025 is no exception.”
Master Blender Hector Alfonso Sr. echoed the sentiment, noting the evolution of the blend. “We started the series with more approachable profiles,” he said. “But over time, we’ve turned up the intensity—first with Broadleaf, and now with this Brazilian Mata Fina. It’s rich, bold, and unmistakably Espinosa.”
Blended in collaboration with Fieri and produced at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, the Chef Special 2025 reflects Espinosa Cigars’ continued commitment to innovation, flavor, and the spirit of collaboration.
Retailers attending PCA are encouraged to visit the Espinosa booth to experience the Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2025 firsthand and explore the latest offerings from one of the industry’s most talked-about lines.
