Espinosa Premium Cigars has announced the upcoming release of The Warhead: Independence Day, a striking new addition to its highly regarded La Bomba Warhead series.

While it carries the iconic Warhead name, the limited-edition Independence Day is an entirely new blend, crafted independently from previous iterations in the series. Presented in a 6½ x 55 box-pressed Toro vitola, the cigar features a dark, oily Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a rich core of long-filler tobacco. Each component was meticulously selected for its strength, balance, and complexity—hallmarks of the Warhead identity.

With a projected retail value of $180 per 10-count box, only 2,500 boxes have been allocated for the current trade show year, making Warhead: Independence Day an especially rare and collectible release.

“We wanted to create something truly distinctive for our most loyal customers,” said Erik Espinosa, president of Espinosa Cigars. “This cigar is more than just a product—it’s a gesture of appreciation and a reflection of how far we’ve come.”

This marks the first time Espinosa Premium Cigars has developed a cigar solely as a promotional item—an important milestone in the company’s ongoing evolution.

“The Warhead: Independence Day allowed us to push the creative boundaries of the Warhead line while remaining true to its spirit,” added Hector Alfonso Sr., Master Blender at Espinosa Cigars.

The blend was developed in collaboration with the team at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, where the cigar is produced.

This release underscores Espinosa’s continued dedication to delivering bold, memorable smoking experiences to its community of aficionados—one limited edition at a time.
