Hutch Humidor in Hutchinson, Kansas, recently donated $2,000 in support of PCA’s advocacy efforts.
“Hutch Humidor is a local brick-and-mortar premium cigar retailer and lounge,” said owner Brian Fleeman. “We recognize the vital importance of industry advocacy and we strive to ensure our patrons’ access to premium cigars is unencumbered by excessive bureaucracy and taxation.
“As a unifying voice, the PCA facilitates the attainment of these objectives, thereby safeguarding the sustainability of the local brick-and-mortar businesses it represents.”
Hutch Humidor opened just last year and they are living up to their mottto: Hush the hands of time, with an initimate lounge experience enabling their customers to “sit back, detach from the daily grind and appreciate the finer things in life.”
The donation will help PCA fight upcoming state and local legislation targeting premium cigars as well as monitor federal actions as they arise.
“It is critical for members to step up through time, talent and treasure as the PCA grows and changes to maintain our successful trajectory,” said Josh Habursky, executive director of the PCA. “We are grateful to Hutch Humidor for their generosity and continuous support for the association.”
