HVC Cigars is expanding its popular Hot Cake portfolio with a new limited-production release: the Hot Cake “Fresh Out the Oven” Broadleaf in a Figurado box-pressed format. Debuting next week at select retailers nationwide, this new size gives one of HVC’s most beloved blends a distinctive shape and elevated smoking experience.
The Figurado box press marks the first time the Broadleaf expression appears in this format, bringing refined construction and a tapered silhouette that enhances flavor transitions throughout the smoke. While the blend remains rooted in the sweet, dense characteristics that have made Hot Cake Broadleaf a hit among enthusiasts, its new shape introduces an added dimension of complexity and progression.
“This Broadleaf wrapper has always been one of my favorites,” the brand shared in the announcement. “The natural sweetness it delivers is like nothing else. With this new Figurado format, we wanted to give fans a fresh way to experience the blend they already love.”
Handcrafted at Fábrica de Tabacos HVC S.A., the cigar features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan fillers, resulting in a warm, balanced, and richly layered profile. The release arrives in a 6 1/2 x 52 Figurado box press, packaged in boxes of 25 cigars.
Production is highly limited—only 240 boxes were created for this initial run—making the Figurado Broadleaf one of the most exclusive Hot Cake offerings to date. Each cigar carries a suggested retail price of $14.40.
This new addition underscores HVC’s continued focus on thoughtful innovation and delivering dynamic new expressions of its core blends. For fans of Hot Cake and Broadleaf tobaccos, this next chapter is fresh out of the oven—and ready to enjoy.
