La Gloria Cubana Gran Legado is returning for a limited 2026 release, with shipments to retailers beginning in November.
The cigar is produced at El Credito in Santiago, Dominican Republic, by experienced bunchers and rollers who each have at least 15 years in the craft. The company says the return responds to customer requests while continuing to recognize the people behind the brand’s production.
Gran Legado is offered in a single 7¾-inch by 62-ring-gauge Perfecto. The blend combines a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
La Gloria Cubana describes the cigar as medium to full-bodied, with coffee and leather notes balanced by tobacco sweetness. Those descriptions are the company’s assessment of the blend.
The cigar carries a suggested retail price of $15.89 and is packaged in 10-count boxes. Total production for the 2026 release has not been disclosed.
For retailers, Gran Legado’s return provides another opportunity to introduce customers to the larger Perfecto and the experienced El Credito team responsible for making it.
