This week, the Dominican Republic’s premium cigar industry gathered in Santiago for Procigar Festival 2026, where the association introduced a significant evolution to one of its most anticipated traditions: its annual charity auction. For the first time, Procigar combined a global online auction with its formal live Gala Dinner Auction, creating a hybrid experience designed to expand participation while maintaining the prestige of the in-person event.

The online auction opened February 13 and ran through February 19, followed by a live auction that will be held on February 20 at 9 p.m. (Dominican Republic time) at Centro Español de Santiago. The new format allows bidders worldwide to participate in real time, including the opportunity to transition into the live event through designated Procigar representatives.

Procigar’s annual auction remains one of its most important fundraising initiatives, supporting social and community programs while reinforcing the global reputation of Dominican premium handmade cigars.

A Curated Collection of One-of-a-Kind Lots

The 2026 auction features 12 exclusive humidors and collector’s pieces created specifically for this year’s festival. Each lot reflects a blend of craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation.

La Flor Dominicana – Espejo de Litto

Starting Bid: $20,000
Cigars: 150

Espejo de Litto includes three never-before-released blends — Origins, Litto’s Revolution, and Futura — developed to reflect different chapters in the brand’s history. The presentation is positioned as both a narrative and a collector’s statement.

PDR Cigars – Founder’s Reserve Blue Label

Starting Bid: $15,000
Cigars: 150

The Founder’s Reserve Blue Label is a 6.5 x 52 Toro crafted with tobaccos aged more than eight years and presented in a premium mahogany and Spanish cedar humidor designed as a collector’s piece.

Tabacalera A. Fuente – Les Chaînes de l’Amour

Starting Bid: $40,000
Cigars: 120

This cabinet humidor, designed by Cyril Brizard and created in collaboration with luxury artisans, has never been commercially released. It includes 120 Fuente Fuente OpusX Double Corona cigars drawn from an exclusive historic release from Arturo Fuente’s private vault.

The Procigar Oficial Humidor 2026

Starting Bid: $7,000
Cigars: 132

Handcrafted by HumidifGroup and designed by Dominican artist Laura Franco, the Procigar Oficial Humidor 2026 features twelve compartments, each autographed by a Procigar member and containing ten exclusive cigars from their respective factories. The design draws inspiration from the White Dinner Party, a signature event of the festival.

Industry Collaboration and Craftsmanship

Other highlighted lots include limited and one-of-one creations from Casa Carrillo, VegaFina, La Aurora, Tabacalera Palma, De Los Reyes Cigars, General Cigar Dominicana (CAO), and Arnold André. Several humidors incorporate artistic collaborations, heritage materials such as caoba and Saman wood, and blends produced exclusively for the auction.

Across the collection, themes of legacy, family history, artistry, and limited production define the 2026 edition.

Founded in 1992, Procigar represents leading Dominican cigar manufacturers committed to promoting the prestige and authenticity of Dominican tobacco worldwide.

With the introduction of a hybrid auction platform and a curated lineup of ultra-limited releases, Procigar Festival 2026 demonstrates both respect for tradition and a willingness to modernize its global engagement — while continuing to position Dominican premium cigars at the center of the international conversation.
