Registration is now open for the 2027 Puro Sabor Festival, offering premium cigar retailers another opportunity to experience Nicaragua’s tobacco industry firsthand through factory tours, farm visits and educational programming. The annual event is scheduled for Jan. 25–30, 2027.

Organized by the Nicaraguan Tobacco Chamber, Puro Sabor brings together premium cigar retailers, media and enthusiasts from around the world for an immersive look at the country’s cigar industry. The festival combines visits to leading cigar manufacturers and tobacco farms with cultural experiences designed to showcase Nicaragua’s history, hospitality and growing influence within the premium cigar market.

The 2027 itinerary will include time in Managua and Masaya before attendees travel to Estelí, the heart of Nicaragua’s premium cigar production. Participating factories are expected to include AGANORSA Leaf, AJ Fernandez, Drew Estate, J.C. Newman, Joya de Nicaragua, Karen Berger, My Father Cigars, NACSA (Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust), Plasencia Cigars, Rocky Patel Premium Cigars and Tabacalera Oliva, among others.

For PCA retailer members, Puro Sabor offers more than a factory tour. The event provides opportunities to strengthen relationships with manufacturing partners, gain a deeper understanding of tobacco cultivation and cigar production, and discover products and stories that can be shared with customers back home.

Registration is available now, and organizers encourage those planning to attend to reserve their place early as the festival has historically attracted participants from around the world.
