In the premium cigar industry, a milestone anniversary isn’t just a reason to celebrate—it’s a chance to create something unforgettable for cigar enthusiasts to enjoy. This year, several leading tobacconists are honoring decades of dedication with exclusive cigars that reflect their unique stories, loyal customer bases, and longstanding relationships with some of the industry’s top manufacturers.

At Oak Glen Tobacconist (OGT), a retailer that recently relocated from California to North Carolina, the shop’s sixth anniversary is being marked by Triforium, an exclusive collaboration with Black Label Trading Company. Crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Nicaragua, Triforium is a rich and balanced 6 x 50 Ecuador Maduro-wrapped Toro that delivers notes of earth, dark fruit, floral aroma, and a finish of bittersweet cocoa and subtle spice. It’s a full-bodied release offered in 10-count packs and being released as part of OGT’s Cigar Society Club. For a younger shop like OGT, this exclusive release shows just how impactful an engaged community and clear brand vision can be.

In New Hampshire, Two Guys Smoke Shop is celebrating a notable 40 years in business with not one, but two commemorative cigars—each made in collaboration with industry icons. The Padrón Ruby Red Exclusive Edition brings together David Garofalo and Jorge Padrón for a luxurious release available in either Maduro or Natural. Limited to just 200 individually numbered humidors—each designed by Nelson Alfonso—the cigars are round (a rare move for Padrón), adorned with serialized bands, and housed in stunning ruby-accented packaging.

Two Guys also partnered with Nick Perdomo to create the Perdomo Two Guys 40th Anniversary Limited Edition, a 4 3/4 x 56 Figurado that highlights Nicaraguan Sun Grown tobacco and comes in commemorative boxes of ten cigars. Just 400 boxes were made, and the release reflects the kind of high-touch relationship Garofalo has built with manufacturers over four decades.

Meanwhile in Pennsylvania, Wooden Indian Tobacco is celebrating two major milestones: 20 years of ownership under Dave Mayer and the shop’s 60th year in business. To commemorate the occasion, Mayer and Nick Perdomo collaborated on Dave’s 20th Anniversary, a limited 6 x 54 Belicoso featuring an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and 10-year-aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. Only 200 boxes were produced, and the shop hosted Nick Perdomo in person for the official launch event in May.
These releases go beyond just being great cigars—they’re tangible expressions of relationships, history, and the trust built between retailers, cigar makers, and customers over time. For consumers looking to experience something special, these anniversary editions offer both quality and collectibility, making them a fitting tribute to the enduring role that brick-and-mortar cigar shops play in the premium tobacco community.
