Room101 Cigars is celebrating 17 years with a new limited-edition release created in collaboration with AJ Fernandez.
The Room101 17th Anniversary is the latest entry in the brand’s annual Anniversary series, which takes a different approach to commemorative releases. Instead of returning to the same blend each year, Room101 develops a new cigar for each anniversary intended to represent the brand at that particular point in its history.
For its 17th anniversary, Room101 has created a full-bodied Nicaraguan puro. The company describes the cigar as beginning with pepper and spice before developing notes of dark chocolate, roasted espresso and earth.
“Every Anniversary cigar is a snapshot of where we are at that moment,” said Matt Booth, founder and creative director of Room101 Cigars. “They aren’t meant to repeat themselves because neither do we. That’s the whole point. Seventeen years in, we’re still finding new places to go.”
One Size, Limited Production
The Room101 17th Anniversary is being produced in a single 6 x 52 Toro and packaged in boxes of 20 cigars. It carries a suggested retail price of $15.89 per cigar.
The limited-edition release is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers in August 2026.
Founded in 2009 and reintroduced in 2017 under Booth’s direction, Room101 has built its cigar portfolio around an unconventional, design-driven approach. The 17th Anniversary continues that philosophy with another one-time blend created specifically to mark the latest chapter in the brand’s evolution.
