Since its launch in 1929, the Stork Club has become synonymous with high society, elegance, and the golden age of New York City nightlife. Considered “the place to see and be seen” by many, the Stork Club has welcomed many socialites, celebrities, and world leaders who continue to make it an iconic venue in New York City some 60 years after the club closed.

Landmark Hospitality has revived the Stork Club name with a modern twist that keeps it true to its historic roots. The reimagined Stork Club is a new membership experience with benefits like unparalleled dining and travel, premier events and entertainment, and exclusive partnerships across Landmark Hospitality’s 15 venues in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

“The Stork Club holds a unique place in American history,” says Frank Cretella, CEO of Landmark Hospitality. “Its revival allows us to pair extraordinary programming and cigars within the sophisticated atmosphere our guests expect.”

Landmark Hospitality is adding to its hospitality offerings with the addition of the new Stork Club Cigar Club Membership program. Curated by Kingmakers, the Stork Club Cigar lounge membership offers exclusive access across Landmark Hospitality’s four–and soon-to-be five–Stork Club premium cigar lounges. Members can enjoy private lockers, exclusive pairing events, new cigar releases, monthly cigar allocations, and access to the lounge’s exclusive cigar, the Stork Club No. 53, which will anchor within the humidors of each Stork Club cigar lounge.

“The Stork Club was a cultural icon, and we are proud to reimagine it with our own flagship cigar. The No. 53 is a symbol of our commitment to offering luxurious experiences that are colorful and timeless,” comments John Williams, head of the Stork Club.

The Stork Club No. 53 pays tribute to the original Stork Club’s location on Manhattan’s 53rd Street. This cigar is crafted in Nicaragua by Kingmakers. This cigar’s blend is comprised of a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobacco. This full-bodied cigar is presented in a Toro vitola that measures 6 x 52. According to the company, Stork Club No. 53 has dark chocolate, espresso, spiced plum, and leather notes.
