CAO is combining two of its established brands for CAO Flathead American Muscle, a limited-edition cigar that will be available exclusively through participating Tobacconists’ Association of America retailers.

The release places the CAO America blend in Flathead’s signature box-pressed 6 x 60 format. It features CAO America’s barber-pole wrapper, which pairs Connecticut Broadleaf with Connecticut Shade, over a Brazilian binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, the United States and Italy.

Flathead American Muscle will be packaged in 12-count boxes and carry a suggested retail price of $12.99 per cigar. Shipments are scheduled to begin in November 2026, with availability limited to TAA-member retailers.

“CAO’s Flathead and America cigars have always shared a certain attitude,” said Cory Beardsley, brand manager for CAO. “American Muscle gave us the opportunity to bring those two worlds together, taking the distinctive CAO America blend and putting it into the signature Flathead format fans know and love. It feels familiar to fans of both lines, but also owns a lane of its own.”

CAO Flathead is known for its box-pressed shapes and hot rod-inspired presentation. CAO America is distinguished by its dual-wrapper construction and multinational filler blend. American Muscle brings those identifying elements together in a single TAA-exclusive release.
