JRE Tobacco is adding the Aladino 85 Aniversario Elegante to its anniversary lineup, with shipping scheduled for the second week of November 2026. The Honduran cigar will be available year-round in limited quantities, exclusively through qualifying Aladino Reserva accounts.
Retailers must currently carry both the Aladino 85th Aniversario Robusto and Toro to receive the new size. Allocations are limited to two boxes per store per month.
Produced at Fabrica de Puros Aladino in Honduras, the Elegante measures 7 inches by 38 ring gauge and uses Pinareño tobacco for its wrapper, binder and filler. It comes in 20-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $22 per cigar.
According to JRE Tobacco, the slender format is particularly demanding to produce, requiring precision from the rollers and limiting the quantities available. The company says the size emphasizes the complexity and character of the Pinareño seed tobacco.
The addition brings Aladino’s portfolio to six Elegante vitolas. For retailers carrying the required anniversary sizes, the release adds a slender format to the line while establishing a defined monthly allocation.
