Maya Selva Cigars has announced the European launch of the VZ Danlí Corto 46, a new addition to the company’s VZ Danlí portfolio.
The VZ Danlí line was introduced in 2024 with Robusto and Toro formats. The new Corto 46 expands the range with a shorter format designed to deliver the same Honduran-focused blend in a more compact smoking experience.
According to the company, the Corto 46 is crafted using tobaccos from Honduras, including leaves from the Trojes region, the Jamastran Valley, and Azacualpa. Maya Selva notes that the tobaccos undergo a triple fermentation process intended to balance flavor and aroma while highlighting the characteristics of the country’s tobacco-growing regions.
The blend consists of a Carmelita wrapper over a Honduran Trojes binder and a filler blend made entirely from Honduran tobaccos. Maya Selva describes the profile as featuring earthy notes complemented by nuances of nuts and wood while maintaining a medium-to-full-bodied character.
The company said the release continues its long-standing focus on showcasing Honduran tobacco and the distinct character of the Danlí region, one of the country’s most recognized cigar-producing areas.
The VZ Danlí Corto 46 measures 4 x 46 and is packaged in boxes of 25 cigars.
