At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA24) trade show, United Cigars will release United Connecticut, a cigar developed after years of market research. This cigar blend is brought together by its Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper, grown along the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
The United Connecticut uses Dominican Broadleaf in its filler, giving the cigar body and complexity while highlighting its Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper. This cigar will come in 20-count boxes and begin shipping to retailers in April.
“We originally crafted the United blend around beautiful Dominican Broadleaf tobacco. Working with superior wrapper, as oily and elegant as this, only this blend graduates to the next level,” commented United’s Oliver Nivaud, United Cigars’s director of operations.
The United Connecticut will be offered in three sizes: Robusto, 5 x 54; Toro, 6 x 54; and Churchill, 7 x 54. Each cigar’s suggested retail price will range from $7 to $9.
This is just one of several new releases that United Cigars will showcase at this year’s PCA24 trade show. In addition to the new United Connecticut, cigar enthusiasts can look for the new Firecracker Connecticut, Gold Star Limited Edition [read more here], 30th Anniversary La Gianna Havana Barber Pole, and Limited Edition Atabey Collection Set.
