After its Millennium lancero and Signature No. 1 limited edition cigars, Davidoff Cigars continues celebrating its White Band cigars with another big release. This week, the company announced the re-release of the Anniversario No. 1 Double Corona.
Earlier this year, Davidoff unveiled what it called “The Difference” campaign that saw the premium cigar company revisiting some of its big releases of the past. The Aniversario No. 1 was initially crafted to celebrate Zino Davidoff’s 80th birthday in 1986. The Davidoff Aniversario No. 1 Limited Edition features an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, an Ecuadoran binder and filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic. The cigar will be presented as an 8 2/3 x 48 Double Corona. This release is limited to just 6,500 10-count boxes released in October 2023. The suggested retail price per cigar is $64 before any applicable taxes.
According to Davidoff, those who smoke the Aniversario No. 1 can expect balanced flavors of cedar wood, roasted nuts, and fresh spice. It will take approximately 140 minutes to smoke this medium to full-bodied cigar.
