“Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro brings a new dimension to Bolivar by introducing a US-grown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper to the portfolio. The blend is rich and rewarding and it’s priced in line with the existing Bolivar offerings, making it among the best values in any humidor. This new line is yet another reason for cigar smokers to explore this legendary brand, and we expect that the blend will be very well received,” said assistant brand manager Joe Krzyszton.

The Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro features an aged Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Honduran filler. According to the company, the Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro is described as a “bold and meaty smoke that juxtaposes peppery notes with hints of coffee and chocolate and delivers lingering notes of earth and spice on the finish.”

This new cigar is handcrafted at HATSA in Honduras and is presented in an old-world-style wooden package. This cigar will be available in 25-count boxes in the following sizes: Robusto, 5 x 54; Toro, 6 x 54; and Gigante, 6 x 60. The suggested retail price per cigar ranges from $5.99 to $7.89 before applicable taxes.
