Today the Joint Committee on Tax Expenditures has scheduled a second public hearing on House Bill 2270, which removes the $.50 tax cap on cigars. In person retailer participation at the hearing is critically important. The hearing details are below:
WHEN: Tuesday, June 18, at 1:00 PM
WHERE: Oregon State Legislature Building in Salem, Hearing Room A
If you are not able to attend in person, please submit written testimony in opposition to H.B. 2270 prior to the 1:00 PM hearing.
