The PCA is the industry’s most powerful collective voice working year-round for you and your business. Each retailer, manufacturer, distributor, supplier, and broker enjoys an unsurpassed level of support, advocacy, promotion and access not available anywhere else.
Interested in attending the annual PCA Convention & International Trade Show? This premier B2B industry event is exclusive to members of the PCA. Membership is required and badge registration is now open. Members receive complimentary access (free badges) to attend. A separate registration is required so check back often and ensure you are set up to receive email communications to register early.
PCA membership is valid from January 1 — December 31 of any calendar year and member dues are not prorated. If a member joins mid-year they must pay for the entire year. 2025 Membership is now open. Any dues payments made after September 2025 will count towards 2026 membership.
Please review the membership categories below and click the appropriate link to apply for membership in your business category. Only those companies who submit a complete application will be considered for membership. Your application will be reviewed and approved by PCA staff in a timely manner. Requests for additional information and instructions for finalizing membership will be sent to the email address submitted in your application. PCA reserves the right to change your membership category based on the information and documentation provided.

Membership Categories, Information & Applications
The PCA currently offers membership in the following categories: Retailer, Associate/manufacturer, Broker, Distributor, Supplier and Media.
Premium Tobacco Retailer
Retailer: Tobacco retail businesses engaged in the retail sale of premium cigars, specialty tobacco products, and related tobacco accessories directly to consumers from a physical location. Online-only retailers are not eligible for membership.
Dues: Membership is based on the total number of retail locations operated. 1 store = $600; 2 stores = $900; 3—5 stores = $1,200; 6-20 stores = $1,500; Enterprise Level: 20+ stores:$3,500
Required Documentation: State retail business license, state tobacco business license (if required in your state), photos of your business (inside and outside).

Associate / Manufacturer
Associate: A manufacturer, distributor or service provider who serves or supplies PCA Retailers. Associate members must remain FDA compliant with all current regulatory requirements.
To exhibit at the annual trade show, associate membership must be current. For companies who currently have an Industry Partner membership, a new Associate member application must be submitted and the difference in member dues must be paid prior to the trade show.
Dues: Membership is based on the total annual sales volume. Up to $1M = $787; $1M—$5M = $945; $5M—$20M = $1,575; $20M+ = $3,087.
Required Documentation: Business license and digital presence (website or social media).
Industry Partner: Broker
Broker: A Sales Representative contracted to represent a PCA Associate Member company and who sells their products to PCA Retail members.
Dues: $472
Required Documentation: Brokers must be sponsored by at least one (1) Associate member as part of the application process. Indicate the sponsoring associate member(s) on your application. PCA will verify prior to approving membership.
Industry Partner: Distributor
Distributor: A business that warehouses or sells premium tobacco products or accessories from at least one (1) PCA Associate member to PCA Retailers. Note: Distributors who wish to exhibit at the PCA Annual Convention & International Trade Show must join as an Associate Member.
Dues: $472
Required Documentation: Distributors must be sponsored by at least one (1) Associate member as part of the application process. Indicate the sponsoring associate member(s) on your application. PCA will verify prior to approving membership.

Industry Partner: Supplier
Supplier: A company that supplies products or services to PCA Associate members, which help those manufacturers bring their product(s) to market. Examples include: tobacco growers; cigar box makers; cigar band or cellophane wrapper makers; pipe tobacco can makers; insurance providers; software providers, e.g..
Dues: $472
Required Documentation: Suppliers must be sponsored by at least one (1) Associate member as part of the application process. Indicate the sponsoring associate member(s) on your application. PCA will verify prior to approving membership.
NEW: PCA ALLIANCE
Business: A Business Alliance member is a winery, brewery, restaurant, country golf club, or other business that sells premium tobacco products. PCA Business Alliance members have access to select PCA Member benefits. To qualify for this membership, the primary revenue of the applying business should NOT come from tobacco products. Dues: $250
Individuals: An Individual Alliance member is a consumer who is passionate about the premium tobacco industry but has no primary tobacco business. Dues: $99
Note: PCA Alliance members are not eligible to attend the annual PCA trade show.
