Black Star Line Cigars has ended direct sales to consumers, the company announced in a recent press release. Prior to this announcement, Black Star Line Cigars’ various lines including El Milagro, Lalibela, and War Witch could be purchased directly from the company’s website. Recent growth and an expanded distribution footprint has led to the company making the decision to remove these products for sale from its website and allow consumers to purchase these premium cigars from retailers.
“It’s time to make a change. We are a bigger company and we don’t need to sell direct to consumer anymore. When the company started we sold direct to consumer to help spread the brand. We have grown tremendously so now we are letting our retail partners exclusively sell our brand,” states Aric Bey, founder of Black Star Line Cigars.
He continues, “We fully support our retail partners in every way. Our website will continue to sell coffee and various other swag for those that want branded items from us.”
