Ferio Tego is offering a Toro size of its award-winning Summa blend. The Ferio Tego Summa Toro, measuring 6 x 50, is presented in 10-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $195 per box before applicable taxes.
“Each format within Ferio Tego Summa’s original four shapes tells a version of the Summa blend’s story. The Toro tells the story exactly as it happened, so to speak,” says Michael Herklots, co-owner and blender of Ferio Tego. “The blend was created in this format and then edited thoughtfully for the other sizes, bringing out different nuances in each in order to be appropriate for the amount of time spent with each format, but preserving the most important points of the story.”
The Ferio Tego Summa is a regular core line comprised of an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, an Ecuadoran Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. It is a full-bodied, full-flavored blend that develops intentionally from start to finish.
“The mouthfeel is thick and creamy, but the flavors skew darker and decadent, reminiscent of a savory fudge,” Herklots describes.
In addition to the new Toro size, the Ferio Tego Summa is available as a Corona Gorda (5 3/4 x 46), Robusto (5 x 50), Torpedo (6 1/4 x 52), and Gordo (6 x 60). Each size comes packaged in a hinged Okume box of ten cigars.
