“Tobacco was Colonial Virginia’s cash crop, fueling its growth and leaving an indelible mark on American history. This release for Fratello conveys the story of John Rolfe, his wife Pocahontas, the Powhatan people, and Virginia, binding the state’s legacy to a leaf that changed the world,” said Omar de Frias, owner of Fratello Cigars.

Pocahontas will have an Ecuador Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Nicaragua. It will be presented in just one size, a 5 1/2 x 54 vitola, and packed in 20-count boxes. Only 200 boxes of this cigar will be released, with shipping expected to begin in April 2024.

Pocahontas is handcrafted in the Dominican Republic at the La Aurora Factory. The suggested retail price is $10 per cigar before applicable taxes.

Pocahontas is the third Virginia-exclusive Fratello Cigar. The company is also headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia.
