Gurkha Cigar Group has shared details on its latest premium cigar collection, Volition America by Gurkha Cigars. This new cigar line is crafted to honor and support those who serve and protect Americans’ freedoms. Every cigar purchased is a tribute to these heroes, with 13% of all proceeds going directly toward educational scholarships for the children and spouses of fallen and disabled military members and first responders through Folds of Honor.
In a press release, Gurkha Cigar Group President Jim Colucci commented: “This project is very near and dear to our hearts. We are immensely proud to support the legacy of our veterans and first responders. With each Volition America cigar, we honor their sacrifices and contribute to a brighter future for their families.”
John Sapiente, CEO of Volition America, added: “We’re excited to partner with Gurkha to bring America not just the next great premium cigar but a cigar with a deeper purpose. This isn’t just about enjoying a smoke—it’s about giving back to those who sacrificed for our freedom and uniting our country through shared values. Every puff is a salute to the brave.”
Each box of Volition America by Gurkha Cigars contains 13 cigars inspired by the number of folds of the American flag. The cigars are presented in red, white, and blue boxes representing the American flag’s colors. Each box has a detailed description of the meaning behind each fold. The red box features a Maduro-wrapped cigar and is blended for those seeking a bold, rich experience. The white box has a Habano wrapper cigar with a balanced, medium profile. The blue box has a Connecticut wrapper, delivering a smooth, mild draw. Each cigar is presented in a 6 x 54 Toro.
The Volition America line also includes several accessories, including a triangular gold ashtray and a custom lighter branded with the Volition America logo. Gurkha plans to release a specially designed humidor with a display frame for a folded American flag.
This new premium cigar collection debuted in stores on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2024.
