Fratello Cigars has appointed Jennifer True as its new vice president of marketing and operations, effective April 1, 2024. True has over 20 years of experience with brand marketing management, business and development, and has experience working with the premium cigar category.
In a press release, Fratello Cigars founder and CEO Omar de Frias commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer True to the Fratello Cigars family as our new vice president of marketing and operations. Her expertise in brand marketing management and business development, combined with her strategic vision and leadership capabilities, make her the ideal candidate to lead our marketing and operations efforts as we continue to expand our presence in the cigar industry.”
True previously served as the senior director of marketing at Altadis U.S.A. where she played a major role in overseeing brands and marketing strategy implementation for the company’s diverse portfolio.

Since its launch in 2013, Fratello Cigars has put out unique blends, branding and marketing initiatives. Earlier this year, Fratello celebrated a milestone by broadcasting its achievement as the first cigar brand on the moon. This event culminated in the landing of a Fratello Cigars-branded shuttle on Feb. 22, 2024, aligning with the company’s innovative approach and pioneering spirit within the cigar industry.
