For the first time since 2021, the Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade will be released as a limited-edition collection. This premium cigar has a rare Brazilian wrapper and proprietary Cuban-seed filler.
“To create Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade, we made a significant investment in agronomy that spans Central and South America. This blend speaks to our commitment to bringing unique smoking experiences to premium cigar smokers. We’re pleased to be able to offer this one-of-a-kind blend once again,” comments Steve Abbot, Macanudo’s director of marketing.
The proprietary Connecticut Shade wrapper for this cigar was grown in the tropical Bahia region of Brazil according to the exact specifications of Macanudo’s agronomists. The blend also includes a Mexican San Andrés binder and a blend that includes Dominican Cubita, a unique and proprietary sungrown tobacco cultivated on a one-acre plot in the bucolic region of Mao, Dominican Republic.
The Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade is said to have a unique aroma and spicy notes with hints of toasted nuts, cocoa, and sweet earth due to the cigar’s blend of Brazilian, Piloto Cubano, and Nicaraguan Jalapa tobacco. This medium-bodied smoke is presented in two sizes: a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro and a 7 x 48 Churchill. Suggested retail price per cigar will range from $10.99 to $11.99 before applicable taxes.
The Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade is handcrafted in the Dominican Republic at General Cigar Dominicana. It will ship to retailers in June and come packaged in 10-count boxes that pay homage to the Brazilian flag.
