The majority of the Premium Tobacco shops in the United States are small and independent. The Premium Cigar Association believes that 99% of our country’s premium tobacconists will be affected by these shutdowns. Forced shutdowns will put many family businesses on the brink.
All of us need to practice social distancing to avoid potential exacerbation of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are ill or an at-risk individual, you should avoid going out. If you are healthy and can avoid coming into contact with large groups, taking advantage of curbside cigar service or cigar delivery is a great way to support your local businesses. Even if you can’t get out, but would like to support, there are fundraisers and opportunities to purchase cigar merchandise.
