Quesada Cigars Changes Ownership

Quesada Cigars has new leadership at the top. It has been announced that sisters Raquel and Patrica Quesada Vega, daughters of Manuel “Manolo” Quesada, have become the new owners of their family’s cigar business.

Founded in 1974, Quesada Cigars has been a family-owned business since its inception. The Quesada Vega family has worked since June 2024 to acquire the business. This transition was initiated after February 2024 when Manolo Quesada suffered a medical episode during the 2024 Procigar Festival. While continues to recover from this medical episode in Spain, sisters Raquel and Patrica have stepped into the leadership role at the company to continue their family’s legacy.

The sisters have stated that their focus will be on building up the Quesada brand and updating its systems and reconnecting with retailers that may have been past customers but are not currently carrying its products.
