At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show in Las Vegas, United Cigars will release the Gold Star Limited Edition. This new premium cigar is being handcrafted in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera William Ventura Cigar Factory and is a testament to United Cigars’s continued dedication to U.S. military families.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Gold Star limited edition, a product of passion and purpose,” said Oliver Nivaud, director of operations at United Cigar. “This project symbolizes our commitment to crafting exceptional cigars while supporting organizations that make a significant impact on the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.”
The Gold Star limited Edition has a Habano 2000 Intermedio wrapper, a Sumatra binder, and Connecticut Broadleaf and Dominican filler. This is a full-bodied cigar that will be available at PCA24 with a suggested retail price of $400 per 20-count box, or $20 per cigar. These cigars are expected to ship at the end of March 2024.
The Gold Star Limited Edition will be available in one size–a 6 x 54 vitola–and presented in 20-count boxes. Only 4,000 cigars are being released. This cigar honors the Navy’s Seals’ dedication and support of American life. United Cigars hopes this release brings awareness to the Navy Seals and their work and will help support the families of the fallen.
200 numbered boxes of Gold Star Limited Edition have been made and 25 of those will be adorned with the signatures of active and retired Navy Seals. These signed boxes will be donated to help raise charitable funds at auction of the Navy Seal Museum Trident House Charities and Swim with a Mission (www.SWAM.org). This care collection is expected to not only appeal to cigar enthusiasts but to supporters of military charities as well.
